Do not i repeat do not order a full order of meals[msnoo] ie if there is 5 of you only order for 3, Or just order starters as the portions are huge and you need room for your cheesecake(the gadiver is my fav)

How true this is. Have rolled out of this place after trying to eat just a main course! Even sharing a piece of chesecake between two of us was a struggle.

Well worth the effort though.[msnwink]

Last time there we ordered 1 starter & 2 Mains between 4 of us and still had to take the cheesecake back to the Villa as we were so full.

Fab food but just to much for our little English tummies.

Soooo true. When I go in there on my own I only ever have starter and cheesecake, and usually end up having to take most of the cheesecake back for later.

Food is fantastic though - well worth a visit. The family have not yet experienced the delights of Cheesecake Factory, but that is definately one on the list for this year's trip :)

We always find the prices quite reasonable. They have a large menu which can be viewed from the website, unfortunately no prices are listed. They do have pictures of the cheesecakes.

I have never managed to eat a whole meal and always end up with a doggy bag.

On Monday we had(4 people) 1 bufflo wings(starter)
1 house nachos(starter)
1 pizza salad combo
1 thai chicken
1 beer 1 coffe 1 coke 1 wine
and of course 1 gadiver cheesecake
1 chocolate fudge cake
and the bill came to $75(we had to take half the pizza cheesecake and fudge cake home)[msnscared]
not bad but we have found the food quite expensive compered to last time we were here and that goes for the suppermarkets to

We tried to get in last Tuesday and at 6pm there was a 90 min wait for a table. We went directly across the Mall to a Restaurant called Brio walked straight in and had a great Meal.

We always try and make a visit here. Our favourite stop off.

We have never managed main and cheesecake, sometimes take chesecake away or just go straight to the deserts.

We must have been lucky, longest wait is half hour which is enough time to watch the deserts going by to help make your mind up[msnwink]

There is only one in Orlando - it's at the Mall At Millennia, not too far from Universal Studios.

There is another one in north east Orlando in Winter Park, but that's quite a bit further from Emerald Island (although well worth a visit as it's a great area to explore).

I actually though some of the portion sizes were smaller than they used to be when we were there earlier this week, as for the first time ever I mananged to eat all my meal as I used to have about 1/3 left to doggy bag. (It was more like the lunch size meals they sell but was a dinner size portion).

Never had room for cheesecke though:D

If you just want to 'test drive' some Cheesecake Factory cheesecake, they sell some selections in the cafe of Barnes and Noble book store.

Interesting that you say that CDV. I visited the Naples restaurant a few weeks ago and thought the same thing. That's not to say that there wasn't enough on the plate but I just didn't get the "I'll never eat all that" feeling when the server brought it to the table.

Funny you should say that CDV, I started noticing the same thing a little while back. I still wouldn't attempt to finish a main course though, so it's probably better than wasting it!

We have just arrived back this morning from our two week hols. Visited the Cheesecake factory twice as we were given gift cards for Christmas and had to go twice to use them up.

All six of us had main courses to ourselves the first visit and most of it was left, the second visit was just my husband and myself and we shared a main course and even then it was a struggle to finish it.

When we looked around there were people having their starters, mains and sweets boxed, what is the point in ordering all that food and then being unable to eat it?

We loved the food we had, I am sure I will be shot down in flames for this but none of us were impressed with the cheesecakes. I make my own and my family will not allow me to buy cheesecakes now as it is in their words "not as good as mums" and they said the same about the cheesecake factories.

My Mum makes great Cheesecake too Hazel. I don't have Cheesecake on the rare ocassion I take some cake away, I have the Fudge Tower Cake and that is just yummy. I picked up a piece to take away whilst over in Winter Park earlier this week (We were having dinner somewhere else but wern't impressed with the dessert menu so decided to pop in and get a take away)[:I] and there is still a bit left after tackling it twice, it's massive. It is on of the cakes that sits in the large glass jars ontop of the cheesecake counter. I can recommend it[:P]

we spent 14 nights in orlando last year and ate at the factory at mall at millenia about 6/7 times. we loved it. huge portions as you say but i love the great choice on the menu. It is rare to find such quality with a big menu.

I loved the adams peanut butter cheesecake. But its definitely pure greed by that stage.
