You aren't allowed to request homes on the open forum but need to go through the site links to ensure homes are verified.
I am guessing you may be a travel agent? If so I am not sure why your mistake/problem (double booking) should mean that you would expect someone else to take less than the going rate to minimise your loss?
Owners on here set their rates realistically to cover costs including current, plus ongoing (so that next years and future guests can all expect to receive the same standard). Without this (just as with the cheap airlines) sooner or later something has to give.
