Hi Kev there are a lot of communities that are close to shops, bars and supermarkets.
Your fingerprint is taken at the theme parks, so only the person who's ticket it is can use it.

Hi Kev, We went to Orlando two years ago with my little ones who were the same age as yours are now. We only got a one day pass for Magic Kingdom and entered the park early for breakfast and to take pictures without the crowds. My 3-year-old loved all of the characters, but my 15-month-old was overwhelmed and a little scared. They both had a great time, but we tried to do the whole park before going back to the villa for a rest. By the time we did get back, everyone was so exhausted that plans to go back in the evening for the fireworks fell through.

As long as you take it slow and don't try to cram everything in as soon as you get there, you should be fine. I see that you plan on getting a five-day pass, so you will have plenty of time to see everything.

We stayed at Legacy Park in Davenport, and there is a little shopping centre a short way away. This year we shall be staying at Highlands Reserve, and the same shops will definitely be withing walking distance.

Hi Kev, May is lovely in Florida, we are there up to May 9th as well, the estates of Formosa Gardens,Oak Island Cove and Harbour,Indian Creek and Rolling hills are some three miles west of disney and three quarters of a miles roughly from the Fromosa Shopping Centre which has a supermarket,7 or eight restaurants, two with a bar in,medical centre, atm etc.
None of these have a community pool, in the same area slightly further away are the estates of Windsor Hills,Emerald Island and sunset lakes all of which have a community pool.
There are many more areas with the faciliities you require,I only know the area where our villa is located but am sure that some of our fellow owners will also be able to suggest to you whre would best suit your family.

Southern Dunes has an on site restaurant/bar at the golf clubhouse and is also within walking distance of a WalMart superstore, Win Dixie and a few other shops.
There are two community pools which guests can use.
