Wondering what else there is to do in Orlando other than the big theme parks in Feb.

Walking in the country parks ( not too hot, no mossies, great time to see wildlife) Shopping!! Plenty of museums that few tourist ever go in.
As Julie says there is lots to do. I suggest you go on the search facility and look up on the Other Attractions section.

I assume they are still open in Jan but we enjoyed Ripleys and Wonderworks(for kids, both on International drive. If you're looking to go further we really enjoyed Everglade city (population 300 !) Has some great museums and airboat rides (better than those near Orlando)Our kids voted it better than any theme park !

Busch gardens, Orlando Magic, Tampa Bay Lightning, Wekiva Springs, Shopping, Parasailing, Fishing, Flying, Golf, Water Skiing, there is absolutely loads to do.
What do you want to do?
Whatever you want is probably available in Florida.
Name it and we will find out if, where, and when.:D
Get the Orlando Unofficial Guide from your local bookstore. It tells give opinions from actual travelers. Tells you what good and what's not.

A visit to Heritage Park (Silver Spurs Stadium) on 192 East for something different to do.

There are some very good coach trips available. Last year we didn't "do" the parks, I wanted to see more of Florida. We went on one trip to Naples/Marco island (including everglades)We had a buffet on a 1.7 million pound yacht while cruising through the waterways of Naples looking at rich folks homes.
Another trip was to Miami and bayside shopping,(with another sightseeing cruise of rich folks houses) then a 20 minute jet flight to Grand Bahama with an overnight stay at a casino hotel.
Returning the next afternoon by 5 hour cruise with evening meal.
How the other half live. I have to say it was one of our best holidays.:D
