Hi - Currently I have the same SKY TV in two different rooms in my house, which causes all sorts of fights when the kids want to watch different things. Is the same with the cable TV in the villas? The villa I am renting has cable tv in two rooms, will it be the same in both? Is cable any good in USA? What is the local TV like?

Like Martin says it goes down to how its set up. We have digital HD cable TV on two of our TV's and the remaining 3 have standard cable TV all of which are independent so you can watch any channel you like without affecting the other TV's. However my neighbour has TV's which are linked together so you can only what one channel at the same time.
Why not ask the villa owner how it is setup?
We also have four tv's at our villa - all with the full range of channels on each.
Ask the Owner about how the TV's work.

As others have said, it is best to contact the owner to ask how their TVs are set-up. We have 7 TVs in our home and each one has independant access to the cable package.
