Does anyone know of a target date for the new coaster to open in Seaworld? The website only says summer 2009. We were tentatively planning to come to Orlando in late June 2009 and might want to include Seaworld in our plans again if the coaster was going to be open.

I have to say that the new 'Manta' ride sounds fantastic, even though I am much too much of a wimp ever to experience it. They do say that even if you don't ride it, the pre-ride area is worth looking at, as thre will be viewing tanks, and hundreds of diffferent fish to see.
There doesn't seem to be a fixed date for its opening yet, as they still say summer 2009, but maybe Martin has some more 'insider' information on that.
My son can't wait to try it as the thought of riding horizontally, facing downwards,on the wings of the Manta as it skims over the water really appeals to him.
