How many inches did you get Andrew? Really miss the change of weather living here in the South!

Not sure Teresa. When I cleared the drive yesterday it was about 12" and then only about another 6" last night.
Looks as though the sky is full of snow at the moment.

Oh Andrew it looks beautiful but it's way too cold for me [msnwink]

Its strange Nina but its not that cold. I remember last year I went down to the supermarket and the outside temperature was showing as minus 18. Before coming to Canada I would have had images of Scott of the Antartic when hearing that temperature but it is a dry cold, the chill doesn't seem to seep into your bones. Obviously we all use the right clothing etc and the real pain is taking off all the layers, boots etc when you go anywhere.
Plus the roads get cleared early each morning so the area doesn't come to a standstill.
Skiing soon[msnsmile2]

The pictures are lovely. I never mind cold if it is dry cold it is the damp I hate.
Looks like we might get some snow in the south at the end of the week - which probably equates to half a dozen flakes and a complete standstill of the transport network.

Those trees look as good in white as they did in red :D Doesn't that virgin snow make you want to do jump prints or snow angels [msnembarrased]

We went snow mobiling in Yellowstone a few years back and the dry cold is so different not the damp of the UK which seems to seep into the bones.
