Hi Guys,

I know this has come up hundreds of times before, so apologies for dragging it up again.

Basically I was arrested and cautioned at the age of 14 for shoplifting £15 worth of goods. This has been my only offense and I have never been in trouble with the police since.

I'm now 27 so this was 13 years ago. My question is:

As I was a minor dies this classify as a crime involving moral turpitude?

According to this website juvenile delinquency is not a crime involving moral turpitude.

Any thoughts on this? Should I see a lawyer? If so has anyone got any recommendations?

Thanks for all your help guys.

Tom

As you say, this comes up time and again. This thread points out lots of regulations with links:

IMO, as you will see from that thread, you can answer NO to the relevant question on the visa waiver form with a clear conscience.
