View Full Version : Urgent
Hi Roger, sorry I think I have made a mess and Mike has arrived at Thrifty and the booking is for the wrong month. If there is anyway you could sort this out I would be very appreciative. He is at Thrifty at the moment and has paid for one days car hire. Please email me

I bet your popular Karen[msnscared]
Mike does not realise it was my mistake yet [msnscared] I am normally so careful
I replied to your email a few minutes ago. Make sure Mike does as I suggested, but I'm sorry to confirm you did indeed make an error on your order and I'm not 100% certain we will be able to get Thrifty to adjust at this late stage (since they expected Mike a month ago [msnscared]).
I'll do my best.
Thank you Roger. I don't know how I am going to tell Mike.

Karen, is it a case of UK v US date format ?.
They have October 11th where as you meant November 10th [msnwink]
I would tell Mike that is what has happened...... it might take the sting out a bit[msnembarrased]
I like your explaination Graham, thank you, but I don't think I can get away with it. It did not help that he could not decide what car and who to have it with and I had to go back several times and re-enter the dates, so I think the last time I just must have clicked on the wrong month some how [msnsad]
Roger is very kindly going to look into it today. Thank you so much Roger.
I would like to say a very BIG thank you to Roger for sorting out my mistake. So thank you Roger and thanks also to Thrifty and I shall be much more careful next time.

Karen you have the perfect excuse. It was because he couldn't decide which car that the mistake happened as you had to go to and fro re-entering dates.[msnwink]
Plus he should have checked, but he never does [msnwink] I think he realises this as he has been fine about it.

Since when have the fairer sex needed an excuse to blame their spouse?
I have a pack of 'post-it' stickers that say "I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you"
Very good "post-it" stickers Robert [msnsmile] We have been married 25 years this year, so we are okay about blame and never hold a grudge [msnwink] We both know that neither of us is perfect.
