Hi Folks ,

Just to a BIG thank you to those you replied to a post I started at the beginning of the year, entitled JET LAG .
I explained that myself and my husband suffer from terrible jet lag when we get home to the U.K , sometimes it was so bad that after about the 3rd day home I felt almost suicidal.
Well I took the advise of some of you and bought MELATONAN from walmart for $4 and took them as soon as I came home 2 tabs each night , I have been home now for 4 days now and I am feeling really great and thats after a nightime flight [ left florida at 6pm ], got home at 7am went to bed for a few hours, got up at lunch time and from then on went to bed at my normal time .
So again a very big thank you , as this time my holiday was not ruined by the horrible time I have when I get home .
Angela

p.s my 2 adult sons refused to take the tabs and are now walking about with fuzzy heads drinking red bull to stay awake enough to go to work.

Hi Angela

I am glad it worked for you - always works well for us. We take it for each night of time change (i.e. 5 nights coming back from Florida). We arrived home Wednesday and are straight into our normal routine hours with no jetlag at all.

I am always a bit sceptable about anything that is herbal, as i feel you could be eating chalk sometimes, but I have never felt as good after a Florida flight. I used to start to dread going home 2 days before I left florida as i knew just how bad i would feel for around 2 weeks after the holiday . Seriously though they are only $3.85 for 120 in walmart and as they are herbal they are non addictive so i would tell anyone to try them.

Just had a look at my bottle and no children can't take them.

re the children thing, I always find that kids and teenagers never have any trouble getting back to normal when they come home . My son and daughter [ in their teens] were bouncing about out with their friends the day we got home. My husband, myself and oldest son [27 find it harder to get back to normal ,I think the older you get its gets worse:(
