View Full Version : Cirque du soleil
Hi Everyone,
It was my birthday yesterday and i got 2 tickets to the show as a gift from a good friend.
We went to the 9 oclock show last night.
It was never the kind of show i would have planned to go see of my own choice.
I am glad to say though, it was totally amazing.
Both me & the wife thoroughly enjoyed it, and the time passed so quickly it was so enthralling.
So many different things happening it was hard to know where to look.
I would recommend it to anyone, even people like me who initially may not have thought it was their cup of tea.
I have to agree the show is amazing. I went for the first time in Novemeber and will be going again just as soon as I can.
Neil, my husband did not think it was for him either, but we have been twice now and both times he thought it was amazing. Last time we took my parents and my Dad said he thought it was really wonderful and thanked me for taking them.

Karen, my husband was exactly the same, didn't want to go but we are definitely planning a second visit this Christmas.
We have been 3 times and seen the show from different positions in the theatre. Amazing show. We want to see others now!
Yep, it is certainly one heck of a show. My hubby really didnt want to go but I managed to persuade him and he thoroughly enjoyed it. IMHO it is a must for everybody to see at least once.[msnsmile2]
Belated Happy Birthday to you Neil

We would have loved to have gone, especially now having read this! We looked at it but just couldn't affor it for the 5 of us - on top of DC too! Save that for next time[msnwink]
We are just back from Florida and went to Cirque on 4th November.
What a fantastic show, so much going on that you don't know who/where to watch.
Would recommend!

As I understand it the Cirque du Soleil is a perminant venue
I think although I am not quite sure that it may be you can only book 6 months in advance.

You can buy tickets from us now. Once you have them in your hand you can book your seats any time up to 6 months. Or wait until the 6 month window is open. If you supply your chosen date when you book, we will book your seats for you. The applies for blueman too. You will also save money.

we have just recieved our 'tickets' bought through this site (Much cheaper than other sites), but although we did state the date we wanted (within a week period), there is no date on the tickets.
Does anyone have advice on if we need to book ahead by telephoning the box office in the US or do you think we would be ok to wait and get the tickets when we arrive in Florida.
we are there for 2 weeks over Easter and as long as we can see the show during those two weeks, have no particular date that we need to go on.

Not my kind of show, so I went last year to see what all the hubub is about. I caught the first 15 minutes, then fell asleep for the remainder of the show. One of the best sleeps I have had in Orlando.
