View Full Version : SCHOOL HOLS JULY 09 !!!!!
Whether it's a mistake soon to be rectified or not, there are as i speak flights with Delta on Opodo LHR -MIA leaving on Sat 25th July, returning Mon 11th or Tues 12th Aug at £384 pp all in. They were £364 yesterday.
This is about £200pp cheaper than anything else available.
Sadly the dates don't fit for us, but a family of five could save an awful lot of dosh for the sake of a longer drive if you have to go in the school holidays.

Thanks for this post. You prompted me to have a look and have just booked Delta flights on an airline network website. Only slight inconvenience is that we fly out of LGW and back to LHR, but for a total price for 4 of us at £1378 in height of school hols (30 July to 21 August), I can overlook that. Might even book a limo home with the hundreds we've saved.

Well, I reckon it was a mistake waiting to be rectified ; the flights are now showing up at £678pp.
BUT I GOT IN AT £388 !!!!! [:O] :D :D :D :D :D
Delta have some flights as follows;
Man to Orlando Depart 26th July 2009
Orlando to Man Return 11th August 2009
16 Nights for just £417.00.
I don't think thats bad.[msnsmile2]
We have just booked Heathrow to Orlando for £373 each!
29th July to 21st August, this is the best price we have ever paid during the school holidays,

Although no good for me personally, this is a great find. Airline Network seem to have the best fares with Opodo just a bit more expensive. Delta's own site shows fares almost double these but it has a Money Back guarantee if theirs isn't the cheapest on the web. In those circumstances they will refund the difference and give each passenger a $100 voucher.
I'm wondering if they know about these!!

If you type in those two words to your search engine, or the words net flights, you will get to the site I booked through. We have used them many times before.
For anyone still investigating these flights, persevere and play around with the dates because they are changing all the time. As we sat booking last night, flights were there one minute, gone the next, back again 10 minutes later! Finally, we hit on a combination of flights/price that suited us, so we bit the bullet. I think the key to getting these deals is that you have to be flexible. Like I said, we've ended up with flights out of LGW but back to LHR, but who cares if it saved us hundreds of pounds?!
Edlea: Did you book yours through Opodo? I looked there first after your initial post, but they seemed to be having technical problems last night so I went to the other site. Worked out well for us, didn't it?
