This is an unbelievable MATH problem. A must with a calculator.

Here is a math trick so unbelievable that it will stump you.
Grab a calculator. (you won't be able to do this one in your Head)
1. Key in the first three digits of your phone number ( NOT the Area code)
2. Multiply by 80
3. Add 1
4. Multiply by 250
5. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number
6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again.
7. Subtract 250
8. Divide number by 2

Do you recognize the answer??

Similar to our phone number but with an extra digit in the middle. Suspect you need a 7 digit number for this to work properly and ours is 6.

The answer was my phone number, just tried my Mums and sisters too and it was spot on.

It works best with 7 digit numbers and adds an extra number to the middle of 6 digit numbers but it has worked every time for me!

I have a 6 digit number, but I used the last digit of the area code and the first 2 digits of the phone number and I got my full phone mumber starting with the last digit of the area code.

sent this to the hubby who quickly came back with the formula for how this works - since he retired he has to much time on his hands[msnwink]

Doesn't work for me - it puts an extra digit in the middle. Tried our previous phone number too and it does the same.

Works on our US number. As my grandchildren would say it's 'well cool'. [msnwink]
