Car Hire for under 25 Year Old

We are going out to Florida in October for three weeks. Due to availability we have booked a fly-drive with Dollar and a villa from this website.
The question surrounds my son who is under 25 and wants to drive this time, not nessarily for the full three week holiday.
Would it be cheaper to book a car for two weeks from a different hire company than to add an under 25 driver upon arrival with Dollar for the full three weeks?
What hire companies would you recommend I try for an under 25 year old?

Have a look at prices on this link. You often find with fly drive packages that the insurance you have to pay on collection are more than the inclusive rates uscarhire quote.

If you pay the underage surchage on collection of the car then it will be $25 per day plus tax, so more like $30 per day.

On our site, if you select Alamo then for £25 per week, he can be included with no surcharge on collection of the car (and up to 3 other drivers age 25+ at no extra cost).

You might also find, as you have booked a fly-drive that you are faced with all sorts of other surcharges, taxes and insurances when you collect your car adding up to several hundred Dollars.
