High Gate Park- What's it like and near

Hi all,

Trying to finalise for 2009 and have seen a lovely Villa on Highgate park.

Would love to hear from people who have stayed there or can tell me what the area is like.

Are there any facilities near by?

Highgate Park is on a gated community and well kept, all homes have private pools there is a tennis court and a small childrens play area. It situated 1.5 miles south on Hwy 27 10-15 minutes away from Disney. There are two large supermarkets within a few minutes drive away Publix and a 24 hour walmart. There are resturants within a few minutes drive away. A good base for your vacation.

Hi, we went there last spring. Very nice community and easy acces to shops and towards the parks. There is shopping centre with Publix, restaurants (Applebees) just a few minutes from the community. We are going back in 2009 !

We stayed at Highgate Park this summer. It provides easy access to Disney parks. Try to get a villa on the perimeter road if you like privacy - the pools in the central area are overlooked. As mentioned above, supermarkets are close, but better ones are on the 192 (fresher produce). You can view the location on Microsoft Virtual Earth (free download) which is more up-to-date than Google Earth.
