I know Roger said they were swamped and they would hope to be able to process all requests in time. He mentioned 3pm 8 pm UK time) (I'm guessing that is US time as that is where he is base so would phone imediately if you can or try and book online in case they cant get to the phones withe being so busy.

Hi Roger
Once again you have demonstrated why this site is the best, after yesterdays trauma I think we are all starting to relax now .
The only hurdle left is we have to pick up,our flight tickets from the Thomas Cook desk at Gatwick in the morning.
Does anyone know what time this desk opens??
Once again a heartfelt thank you for what you have helped us with

Thanks for the vote of confidence. It does show that booking a package isn't always the safest option as many tour operators claim, when things go wrong it can mean that the whole holiday is in jeopardy but, as you've found, it is so easy to book everything separately that there is less chance that all of the sectors will fail and may just mean rebooking part.
On these site for instance car hire, flights, villas and park tickets are all in effect individually operated companies so the chances of them all failing at once would be fairly remote.

Hi Roger
Just back from Florida, and want to say thanks again for your help in sorting out a car for usat such short notice
We arrived and were through MCO in record time (35 mins[msnsmile2])and the Dollar express was a god send.
Had a great time and will be booking a car tonight for our next trip in March 09

Hi Roger,
Thanks for the tip off, unfortunately I've just missed the deadline for Dollar[msnsad]
Just booked with Alamo though as their prices haven't changed.
Do Alamo do an equivelant to Dollar Express ??
