Sadly, I've never found a decent curry in Florida. Quite disappointing because you can find superb Indian food in many cities across the US, particularly New York.
I have to agree with Katys Grandad, never yet found a decent curry in Florida either. Usually have one just before we go and then another when we return.
Shame. I am sure there is a large asian comunity in and around the area so this does surprise me.

Hi,
The best we have been to is 'Passage to India' on Idrive. It is definately worth a visit if you are gagging for a curry

One of my friends out here is Indian and she keeps threatening me with her Mums cooking.
I cook up a pretty mean curry but it's never quite the same unfortunately.

Hi,
Like Nigel we always long for a good curry when in Florida, but as yet not found one. We have tried the Passage to Indian on Idrive and OK but that is all we thought and we thought a little on the expensive side.

There's a nice Indian place in Longwood on 434 (Seminole County). I've been there a number of times. It's in a closed Pizza Hut! If anyones interested I can get the name and address.

No idea why people come to Florida from England to eat curry!
HOWEVER, the best is Spice Cafe in Dr.Phillips, which does South Indian stuff as well as curries etc. Basic cafe decor, but great food.

[/quote]Not sure people travel to Florida for Indian food, you've gotta eat something though!
At Cagans Crossing on H27 the Viceroy Indian restaurant was OK when we visited.
Any further views on the place in Cagan's Crossing?
