Hello does anyone know where i can get a list of zip codes to put into a sat nav when we are in Florida. This could be anything like, Disneyworld, Universal, Water Parks Malls etc.
Thank you in advance for anyone who does know where i can find one.

Not sure of where you can get a list but disney is 34747,i'm sure if you go on usf and sea world's websites you should find their zip codes.

I was right it has been Blotted [msnwink]
Sorry Tezz, just so as you know I'm still awake... :)
I would not recomend the zip's as they are just too large.
You will be much better off with the address of the park, although they may need to be fine tuned as you may end up at the corporate office rather than the entrance to the park.
Out of interest, which GPS do you have?
I know that Tom Tom users can download POI's by using the TT home function. In there are custom POI's made by people, one of which has disney parks and another has theme parks other than disney.
I don't know how accurate they are, but it may be worth trying if you have a Tom Tom.
Most sat-nav units have 1000's of POI's in them when purchased, including restaurants, theme parks, golf courses etc.

The beauty of hiring a sat nav from the car hire site on here is that it comes preprogrammed with all the major attractions and your address so its all set to go as soon as you arrive.
If you are taking your own then its usually a case of searching the websites to find the address. If you put in our zip code of 33897, although it officially in Davenport it is miles away from the town and would give you a false idea of where to go to. If you can find the full zip code of where you want then that will narrow it down. The zipcode covers a large area and then to breakit down there is a four digit number, so for instance ours is
33897-0524

Does the four digit code work on sat navs then, as it doesn't on google maps

Not sure Shirley as we dont have one and it may depend on the make of Sat Nav. It may be that some have allowed for it if they were targetted at the US market. When I was talking to someone in the Mail room once, he couldnt believe that our Postcode (in our case) narrowed the address down to 20/25 houses.
We have a Tom Tom and all the parks and attractions are already on there when we switch it over to the USA version.

i think Shriley is referring to th eextra 4 digits on zip codes that breaks it down in more detail. The standard zip code is 5 digits but that covers a vast area, all addresses have a five digit followed by a - and 4 digit code, dont know if the sat navs have allowed for this.
I have a Tom Tom and it doesn't accept the extra 4 digits on Zip codes
