Anyone know what day of the week may be better or worse for visiting different parks? Just wondered if it makes a difference?[msnscared]

Take a look at this thread.

I stuck to the days Newhomebuyer put on the forum, then checked the Disney website to make sure they weren't early opening days for disney guests. I was there July/August this year and found by sticking to the days it really worked for us.

We went to Islands of Adventure on Saturday and it was jam packed with groups of young people. Gave up in the end and will go through the week.

We found different places advised different quiet/busy days but what we did do was steer clear of the magic hours. It worked for us[msnwink]

Try to avoid Mothering Sunday which is May in the US......not sure which Sunday in May but I am sure someone will know......we have been a couple of times on this weekend and it is usually very busy.

Can be done with some good strategic planning though[msnwink]

I would go to the Disney site and find out which parks open early to resort guests and go somewhere else. Giong to a park the day before or the day after early opening is good as either resort guests will just have been or will be hanging off for the next day. Makes a little difference I think.

I also think the biggest time saver we had this time was geting to the parks for rope drop. Never done this before (usually arrived 9.30 - 10) but got up earlier. So quiet in comparison to later and would easily get 3 major rides done by 10. When we went to Epcot we went straight to Soarin', we were on the first ride of the day and fast passed for later that day on the way off. [clap]

Yes Laura, fastpasses are included in your admission price with Disney.
