Hi guys,
can you use the Disney hotels restaurants even though your staying at a private villa.
We stayed at the Animal Kingdom last August and the scran there was very good.
Cheers,

Any one can use the hotel restaurants, sometimes its advisable to book though.
I think scran is a slang term for food but will await other replies on this for verification.

It's a word used in the north east, and also the armed services.
Glad for the explanation.
I've lived in the UK for 20 years, most of it in the IOM and never heard it before.
In any case, yes you can use them all incl the ones on the Boardwalk. 1-407-WDW-DINE
We tried to book Jiko at Animal Lodge last Tuesday for the Thursday or Saturday. The only time they could offer the two of us was after 9pm on the Thursday. Friends tried to book Boma and it was the same story. When we were there in March we rang at 7 and were in the restaurant at 7.15! Recession what recession!!! The food there is amazing though, especially if you're veggie.

Now I know why my husband often asks "wheres the scran spanners"
He is from the North West which I thought it came from but I guess it is 26 years in the Navy.
Nina,
all the resort restaurants are busy because we are in the middle of the free Dinign package offer to some resort guests. So yes, recession, so they go during the quiet period with free dining rather than pay the full whack!

I didn't realise Scran was just a North East word for food.
First time i've ever seen anyone ask what Scran meant.

Scran spanners being cutlery. I'm not sure whether I know it from my Dad being a Yorkshireman or his 25 years in the RAF.
