Hi everyone, thought we'd let you know we won two prizes today!
Just been to Hollywood Studios, and we were lucky to receive dream fastpasses. Another visitor tipped us off near the entrance to One Man's Dream as we were rushing to the new Toy Story ride.
The Disney staff were just inside One Man's Dream, and gave us the passes and hats as part of Disney's Year of a Million Dreams.
The passes give you one fastpass for seven different rides, to be used whenever you like. We could still use our tickets for fastpasses as well.
Don't know if this happens every day, but its worth checking out if you can, you never know!

Congratulations, What was the other prize Debbie, was it the hats?
One of the homeowners was lucky enouhg to win the overnight stay in Cinderellas castle a while back.

We too were lucky enough to be given Dream Fastpasses as we entered Epcot's Future World over the bridge from World Showcase. It was very early in the morning and there were a few Disney staff handing them out. I think they choose different locations on different days throughout the parks so you never know where they will be!

So do the cast members pick people to hand these prizes out; right place right time?

They are supposed to be randomly selected. The computer wil generate the venues and places for instance the won who won the castle stay was on a particular horse on the carousel at a particular time. Other criteria may be the 13ooth through the turnstile etc so there is supposed to be no elemnt of cheating or favouritism in allocating the prizes. The fastpasses may be done slightly differently as it doesnt actually cost them any more to give them out.
if you search the forums ytou may fiind the trip report from the castle suite, it looks fabulous but cant remember who it was that won.
Yes, our other prize was the hats, blue ones with clouds on and Mickey ears. Some people were just given hats and some had the hats and the passes. We were lucky to have both!

We won animal kingdom fastpasses last year, we had just got off Expedition Everest and they gave every one a dream fastpass

We were given dream passes at MK a couple of saturdays ago. We were being congratulated for the rest of the day. It made us feel really special[clap]
We were congratulated too, all the cast members were shouting "Hey double winers!" It was really great[msnsmile2]
