USCarhire still haven't taken their £25 deposit from my visa card and the booking was made on 30th July.

Is their a problem or are they just slow at taking deposits?

there can be a delay but you need to email uscarhire directly as Roger is not always around the forum info@uscarhire.co.uk

cheers, i'll do that as the booking went through okay and i got a confirmation, just strange they haven't taken the cash.

This is quite normal, especially for bookings like yours for over a year away, where the deposit can be taken some time after the booking. This doesn't affect your order in any way.

I thought they woiuld have just taken the deposit like tour operators do for flights and holidays
