Upgrading Car Hire

Hi All

I'm new here first can I say great site and a wealth of information.

My question is I'm off to Atlantia then Florida 3 weeks today (feels like 3 months:() I have booked a full size 4 door but fancy a convertible Does anyone have a rough idea what the cost would be to upgrade?

If you've booked through http://www.floridahire.com/ always upgrade before you leave and never upgrade at the car rental desk! Upgrading at the rental desk will cost you lots more and there will be taxes and insurances to add onto the total also.

So, if you booked through Roger, then just let him know that you want to upgrade before you leave the UK and get your voucher with the fully inclusive upgrade on it ready to present to the car rental desk.

Sadly I booked in May before I found this site D!OH will see what Dollar are asking when I get there :([msneek]

It will probably cost you a small fortune. The rate they give you will usually be per day and not a one of charge. Best to do it before you go. Or even better if you can cancel and rebook through uscarhire you will save money.
