Car Hire Question for Roger

Hi Roger - hope you live up to your reputation & can sort out problem re carhire.

There are 10 of us 8 adults 1 teenager and 1 11 year old. Going on cruise from Port canaveral for 1st week (transfer frm Sanfors sorted - got shuttle & overnight stay with Fawlty Towers hotel. Get back to Port on 31/8/08 about 9amish and need to collect vehicle(s) at Port and drive to our villa at windsor Hills to do theme parks for a week, then drive to Sanford airport on 6/9/08.

Don't know wahat t get for the 10 of us (with 10 cases. Originally thought of 12 or 15 seater, but proving difficult to get or can't pick up at Port. Suppose our other option will be 2 vehicles, maybe 2 x 7 seaters? - but probably more costly. Would it be cheaper getting 2 smaller cars and getting taxis from Port to Villa and then Villa to Sanford Airport. Please help this is driving (excuse the pun) me mad!

For collections from the Port, your only real option will be Budget or Thrifty on our site. The maximum size with either is a 12 seater, but I think availability might be a problem.

Personally I'd suggest 2 Seven Seaters as these are easy to secure, and will give you more space, as well as allowing you to split up if 2 groups want to do different things.

Thanks for that Roger - what 7 seaters would you recommend. Oh and ignore my other post about not seeing my post on the ca site- when I went back in it was there.

The 7 seater Minivans are good, and again easier to get hold of at non airport locations as compared to the 7 seater SUV's
