First time in Florida in September and will be staying in Davenport. Both myself and my son fancy a round of golf. I play to 17 and my son plays to 9. Any recomendations regarding which course to use. Will want to hire clubs and buggy. ( As we do not want to bring our own clubs over )

Any ideas greatly welcomed.

I would recommend Southern Dunes, which is quite a challenging course (so I'm led to believe!) as you are both (especially your son) good players.

It is also close to where you are staying and they rent out clubs. Buggies are included in the course fee.

LEGENDS on HWY 27 towards Clermont is okay -

Legends on 27 will be a good challenge off 17, the 9 handicapper will also enjoy it. Kings Ridge across the road from Legends, both in the $30-40 range

Champions Gate with the 2 courses designed by Greg Norman.

It is half the distance to Champions Gate from Davenport than to Legends or Kings Ridge.

Great golf that you would enjoy [msnwink]
