We recently returned from Florida, having used this site to book our car hire. My observations -
- Excellent site, good prices, clear terminology to understand what you get and why, and very good advice.
- Signed up for Dollar Express, though when we arrived it was so quiet there was no queue anyway.
- No problems encountered
- A warning was given here on this site to be aware of 'upselling' by the desk salesman when you pick up the car, they all do this. They tried to sell me a 'fastpass for road tolls', enabling me to go through all road tolls without needing to queue / get the coins out, and all for an upfront fee. He told me the fee was about $60 I think, but this would be a bargain as I'd spend more than that. I knew myself that I only spent minimal amounts on road tolls around Orlando, and recalling the advice received beforehand, I declined. I think I actually spent about $6 in total throughout our stay in Orlando & Naples.
So well done to the Forum / website for the clear and accurate advice given - thanks
