Pacificas

Hi has anyone in the last month managed to book a pacifica either with dollar or alamo/national? Are they still around and available as we love to drive them and for the safety ratings for our baby and we are going back in 8 weeks and I need to book a car asap.

We have asked for a Pacifica for our last 3 rentals and no luck.
Didn't enquire as to why - but the time we did have one it was actually offered to us as a free upgrade - so makes me think they are no longer around.

and when was that (your last 3 rentals) and with which companies? Just dollar or Alamo as well or both????

We didn't request a Pacifica to rent but we commented on how few we saw on our last trip in May - unlike our last few holidays when every other car seemed to be a Pacifica. I can only remenber seeing 2 during our two weeks holiday...

Last 3 were May 2008, November 2007 and September 2007.
We use Dollar.

last year we got 1 Aug & sept 2007 and so did my best friend so I know they were still around then but May is interesting to me.. It looks like dollar dont do them anymore and I dont like the chrysler 300. We booked alamo last year and my friend was dollar ummh intersting.
