View Full Version : Ford Expedition
Hi there, will be out to Florida and need to book a car for 7 people (5 adults and 2 kids). I have been recommended the Ford Expedition, will this be large enough for all 7 with 7 suitcases and hand luggage and if so which of the hire companies through this site rents this particular model?
cheers
Graham
Budget do an 8 seater luxury SUV. If you put in 8 seater minivan and then click on the Budget option it will show you the vehicle you are likely to get. Not sure about how much room there is for luggage etc, but expect someone will have rented one of these vehicles recently and will be able to tell you.
Graham, you will find a little bit of info and photo on the following thread:http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/topic_45698.asp

We did the Budget 8 seater luxury SUV and we got a Ford Expidition. There were 8 of us 6 adults and 2 children. This car was great for day to day stuff and the parks, however I can't comment on the room for suitcases on the airport journey as we also had a compact. There were 4 adults and two children for the Airport journey in the expidition and I think they were ok.
Obviously the kids didn'thave full size suitcases each so there were just the 5 cases and hand luggage they were fine.
Hi all.. Going out to Orlando in September and we usually rent a Grand caravan or similar , but wondering about the free upgrade with Budget, there will only be two adults and 3 kids. Is it more spacious than, say, a Grand Caravan or Town and Country?
