Hi All

Am I too late to get a villa for August?

I can get flights from 1st to 17th or the 3rd to 17th

I have sent an enquiry form off to all owners of 3 and 4 bed villas but have not had any replies, my email address is fine because i have had confirmation of my enquiry.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Debz,

Personally we are booked, and I would guess that many owners will be, however you have done exactly the correct thing and sent off the enquiry form. Owners can't respond to request on the forum.

Did you use all of the villa sites above, as you will need to do an enquiry on each one.

I would wait for the enquiries to come in, as you may find that just has you have found late flights, owners also get late cancellations due to guests circumstances changing.

Hi Debz,

You might also be better just doing a general enquiry to the 3 sites so that your enquiry goes out to all bed sizes. I do not have availability either but I know for a fact that there are owners out there that do have availability. I am sure you will get fixed up with a lovely villa to stay in, as Euan has said cancellations happen for a number of reasons so it is never too late to enquire.

I is worth doing another search on all sites ,We are booked but my be you will get someone that have dates available .
It is a busy month as all children of school .

You may find that some people have part of the time available so if you cant find one for the whole time then could split into 2 weeks. It may mean a bit more hassle but still better than 2 weeks in an hotel.

There are quite a few people I know got dates avalable.[msnwink]As suggested, put out a general enquiry to all the sites and I am sure you will get some replies.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply.......................I cannot believe it, I did submit a general enquiry but put the year as 2009 instead of 2008, so apologies to all who replied [msneek].

It could well be that your hotmail account is blocking some of the return e-mails. this has happened in the past to some enquirers.

Yes, I did initially reply to your request. Did you not receive it?

Unfortunately now that you have changed the dates to 2008 I am afraid that we are booked up for this year. It is strange that you did not get any replies though.
Do check your hotmail account as Ceri says.
