Disney have just announced they are to build a 100 lane bowling alley at the World Wide of Sports. It will be completed in about 18 months time.
I have just read about this Paul.
It sounds like it's going to be a great new Disney attraction, I'm useless at bowling but we always have a good time.
Great news, we love bowling, and it will save the drive over to the OBT to plat.
Mind you that is going to be one big Bowling Alley.

theres a great Bowling alley at Eagle ridge Mall on highway 27. Can'r remember the prices but it was abbout a quarter of what we pay in the UK.
Hmmm, might have to take up bowling again, dust off my balls [msnembarrased]

We keep meaning to go bowling on the 192. Drive past everyday and say 'we must go there on this visit'. Maybe one of these days we will get there.
Said the same about crazy golf and played on our last visit (had to drag hubby there by the hair almost), but we did have fun and it was surprisingly relaxing.

Hi Paul, it is Orange Bowl Lanes at 1221 E Vine St Kissimmee, FL 34744, United States +1 407-847-2866 Just before you turn onto Michigan.
It has recently been refurbished. Not sure of the prices etc but if you go let us know what it was like.

I want to buy some new shoes whilst I am out there, hopefully it has a pro shop otherwise it will have to be the one by Winter Park.

Not sure whether they have a shop. Incidentally, I found another one at Lakeland. Their website is: orangebowllanes.net
I did a search for orange bowl lanes
Would Sports Authority sell shoes.

This sounds like good news Paul, another option for a night out particularly for the teenagers in the family. Not far from us either. Must try it out when it opens.

There is also an ice skating rink about 5 mins from our villa. Our MC's son plays in the hockey team there but they do 'public sessions' as well. If anyone would like info let me know and I will get the details for you.
