We would all love to keep one but I feel that although we have a big enough garden (just over an acre!!) the house is not big enough for 2 large dogs - unless the kids move out - now there's an idea!![msnwink]
They're beautiful - as is mum.

Frances, they are so cute. I am sure with four girls you will have no problem getting homes for them as girls are always in demand.
I am always saying I would love a second Border Collie but the problem is when we go off to Florida for anything up to six weeks. So far we have had no problem is one but two is a different matter. Not sure if I could cope with agility with two though.
Hi
Jill I feel the same we have an 8 year old border collie called Milly and I have just given in and got a new bitch called Roxy 13 weeks now. I kept saying i'm not having any more but she is just what we needed to keep us on our toes.
I will put some photos on here soon
I swap dogs with one on my friends when we go on holiday and I thought I will just have to make some more friends!!!

we have to find ways of looking after our little boy doggy..... we were going to kennel him for the first time ever, but have decided one of the girls will come stay here with her children as the kids will still be on summer hols when we go....... it is such a big tie when going away for a holiday!!
good luck with them Frances...... will you kindly show us some more pics as they get a bit older, always love;y to see them growing up......
Lovely pics. Hope mum and babies are all doing well. We are hoping to get a litter from our border terrier later this year. Hope all continues to go well for all of yours. [msnsmile2]

We had a border collie, she was our 'baby' when we first got married. She looked after all our children - crying andcratching at the door when she heard them wake up - we didn't need a baby monitor!! She had her own puppies when she was 9!! She was a wonderful mum to them. She was 15 when we lost her. We called her Pigeon because we got her from a rescue centre (she had been abandoned in a plastic bag, luckily she was found ) and when we bought her home she left little messes everywhere - the kitchen floor looked like Trafalgar Square!!

Golden Retrievers are the best dogs in the world ... but then as a previous owner, I'm biased !
Congrats to you and mum Frances, those pups are completely adorable.
Really looking forward to more photos as they progress [clap]
New photos of the puppies. They will be 2 weeks old tomorrow!! They have grown masses and mum is making a good job of feeding and looking after them!

The ones with 'collars' are spoken for! We only have a boy and a girl left now. We are keeping the one with the brown stripey collar - her name is Emmy!

They are all so cute, I hope the pupa are doing well, I guess they have grown quite a lot by now?
All the puppies except Emmy have now gone. The new owners have sent us photos of them in their new homes but they are on hubby's laptop so I will post them later!! Emmy is settling in very well, however, we took her to the vets last week for her first innoculation and now within a few days of her first outing she has kennel cough. I have spoken to the vets and apparently it is bit of an epidemic around our way at the moment. We know that can be the only place she got it as we have kept Mum home too with no walks incase she brought something back!! Oh well, best laid plans and all that!! The Antibiotics will help hopefully!
