View Full Version : DINNER SHOWS
We are going to Florida this summer and we are wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a dinner show?
Thanks
Paul
My whole family love Sleuths. You sit at a dinner table set for 8 people, are served a 3 course meal plus coffee throughout the evening, and have to find out "Who Dunnit". The Cast involves the audience and it's fun. There are several shows, each of which is different. We've been to 3 now and always had a good evening out.[msnsmile2][msnsmile2]
They have room for approx. 120 people at each show, so it's more intimate than many of the others.

We have only been to Arabian Nights and we hated it. The lads walked out half way through and went and sat in the bar (they had plenty of company). My husband, myself and daughter remained to the bitter end and equally loathed it. I payed for all the tickets as presents for all. Been 5 years now and still haven't lived it down, all of the still complain on me torturing them.
Others on the forum have enjoyed this show but my part of 10 all hated it.
If I could persuade them to try another show I would choose Sleuth as I have heard good comments about it. But they are adamant in their refusals to try.
The Gospel Brunch at Disney House of Blues is absolutely fantastic - not exactly dinner as such, but a meal and a show with difference!
If Universal are doing any of there "themed" night when you are there with a concert, they are a great night out at well - we saw Earth Wind and Fire at one of their Mardi Gras nights in April - mix in a meal and it's fantastic stuff!
The Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues is great although I would preferred it in the evening with some beers, which kind of defeated the point I guess [}:)] Great music though!
We did pirates dinner show last oct and the show was grest, good audience participation etc.., but the meals were not good and the server was terrible and rude [msnsad] considering medieval times and arabian knights for this year as had recent good reviews [msnsmile]

Whereabouts is Sleuths anyone?
Pam
I would thorughly recommend Sleuths - you can'e beat the shows and the food and the drink - far, far, better than pirates etc but not really suitable for young children. I would say the older teenagers are the youngest I would take. They are great, friendly people and go out of their way to ensure that everyone has a great time. Their website is:

Once again I highly recommend it!

It's not that far from Wet 'n' Wild and is great fun.
We went to Sleuth's last week and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We bought our tickets beforehand and phoned in our dinner order (menu on Sleuth's leaflet), this saved time queuing up on arrival and it left us more time to enjoy the nibbles provided at the entrance. When seated at your table, you have a choice of free beer, wine or soda. There is a bar in reception area if you prefer a wee dram before the show starts. We would certainly recommend this dinner show [msnsmile2]
We went to Medieval Times & the Murderwatch Mystery Dinner. Both were brilliant.
Medieval Times was a very messy affair as they do not use cuttlery. It's all fingers!!! Mind you, our serving wench was very generous with the jugs of beer! Very good show too. Great for the entire family.
Murderwatch was a buffet style meal. As we were on our honeymoon we got a mention by the entertainment. Very clever show, took me a while to even realise it had started. Good for adults and older children only though.
Speakle, the Murderwatch Mystery Dinner sounds great, where is it?
on the subject of Dinner shows were getting a Go Orlando card (5 day ) you get a choice one of three Dinner shows 1, Pirates 2,Arabian or 3, Outa control magic show , any ideas as to the best one ? ive heard the Pirate one is not very good bad/rude service .
Arabian sounds a good bet ??
