The Kodak exhibit has been closed recently. When I asked why, the person told me that the relatively recent remake where they sacked Figment (and Dream Weaver) was a flop, and Figment's making a comeback. My kids are ecstatic.

Tell us more about this as I have to admit to not having a clue what it's all about. Is it something to do with a film?

No it used to be a ride John. I think it is the one about a Journey into Imagination? Am I right MMFAN?

Julie,
You are right, it is Journey into Imagination.

We went to Epcot the other year after a few years break and were broken hearted <img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>when we went on this ride. We'd gone purely to see old Figment, with the song already rattling off our lips. What an awful flop the new one was. I'm really pleased they're going to bring Figment back. Must dust off the old horned baseball cap for work now.

Right. It was a ride where an animated character (Figment) and his friend Dream Weaver helped you "explore your imagination". It was actually better than that description sounds. They replaced it with a ride and narrative (a British TV star, I believe) of optical illusions and things like that.

My kids used to run from the entrance of EPCOT to the Kodak exhibit for this. They usually had a Dream Weaver and Figment character signing autographs and taking pictures outside. There were cheers from them when we found out that Figment was coming back.

It's good to hear Figment will be returning. That ride was so clever, really interesting to look at and a great character for the kids, while being very educational at the same time. I cant wait to see the new improved Figment home!
