I hope it's ok to talk about a none orlando theme park.[msnsmile]
My youngest son has just turned 16 and he wants to recapture his childhood by taking his girlfrield[msnoo] to the new Thomas the Tank Engine Land that has opened at Drayton Manor Park, does anyone know of any 2 for 1 offers available at the moment.
Does anybody else visit other theme parks and then spend the whole day saying 'it's not disney/universal'. [msnsad]

cannot help with the Drayton manor question but got to say since going to disney in florida we've never been to another UK theme park and even walking around disneyland paris we say "well it's not as good as in florida" and we have been many times to paris
it's not just the disney magic of the parks but the cast members and the american hospitality that makes florida such a special place to visit

We are the same, any parks we have visited in the UK since first visiting Disneyworld and Universal Studio, has been a complete disappointment.
We all compare the rides to the ones in Florida, also the weather hasn't been as good on those occasions either, which doesn't help.
My son visited Drayton Manor last year he received a deal from their website
For special offers check the website www.draytonmanor.co.uk.

If you have a barclaycard or some other credit card you might find that you can get some deals like 2 for 1 or using nectar points or something similar
The last time we went to a UK theme park was Alton Towers; 2 hour queue for 40 second ride, buzzed by wasps whilst in the queue. TGhe above wesite should be www.draytonmanor.co.uk without the last full stop.
Drayton Manor is one of the listed theme parks for Tesco Clubcard vouchers. You have to order via the Tesco clubcard website. The tokens usually arrive within a few days.
