anyone done, seen or know if this can be done in a wheelchair, know there is a couple of steps down into the boat but our son can't get out his wheelchair and say onto a seat on the boat so any info would be great as I think he would really love this.

Ali
Don't know if the can cater for wheel chairs but it is a great ride and they guarantee you will see the dolifins.
Try emailing them http://www.seascreamer.com/boat_rides_clearwater1.htm
They are always helpful and friendly, if this link is edited goggle seasceamer, clearwater.

Ali - if you get any joy I would be interested to know as I am a wheelchair user myself and would love to do this. Please report back if you have any joy, thanks.

i will Sue, so far haven't had a reply re transferring, she did say this is 4 small steps down into the boat so if someone can lift the wheelchair down, looking at the trip on youtube it looks as if it might be possible. will keep you posted

They would not us let take a wheelchair on as it is unsafe, there are no tie downs for a wheelchair.

Ali when we went on The Sea Screamer in October I noticed a smaller boat which was similar called The Thriller. I have just rang them as I wanted some info for myself and also asked about wheelchair access. Unfortunately they do not cater for this[msnsad]
After we went on The Sea Screamer we spent the afternoon on the beach next to where it was docked and saw several Dolphins jumping in the sea. This might be an option if you want to spend some time on the beach. If you took a pair of Binoculars you could get some great views of The Dolphins. I seem to remember a pier there as well which would be good for wheelchairs[msnsmile]
