Thanks for the info Chrissie, sounds like a nice place. We could do with more choices at Champions Gate. Must give it a try next time. In fact we have friends going out in a couple of weeks so will pass on your recommendation.

As we are going out next Sunday we will give her a try, thanks for the info.
Have you eaten there Chrissy? Everytime we have gone there to eat it has been closed, despite being during their advertised opening times....
I was certain that I had read the same, not open when it was being advertised as open, maybe it was Rosie that had posted this information originally but if I remember rightly I had also read it on another forum.

I am sure that an owner has eaten here recently and couldn't get a roast[msnembarrased]
We went there about 3 weeks ago on a Sunday for the roast that was advertised. Not a sign of life anywhere. It was like a morgue. We were really annoyed and I rang the number on the advert. The English lady said they did not open until Noon. It was advertised as open at 0900 which I pointed out to her. We got there at 1145 so goodness knows how they were going to cook a roast[msnoo]
The English lady said they would change the advert. It has taken 3 weeks to change it. It also has something to do with the place at Polo Park. We won't bother going back. If you advertise, then you should be ready and open. No excuses. There will be plenty more to choose from around ChampionsGate area in the near future.

We went to the 'cafe' at Polo Park a couple of visit ago for breakfast. Lets just say I wouldn't bother to go back!

Not somewhere on our to do list after being let down with it being closed when it should have been open.
Heard that the cafe could be for sale?

[/quote]I had heard that the food is transported from the cafe at Polo Park to the bar at Championsgate, but it is not a place I would recommend.
Cruella, I heard the same thing and also the manager ( the english lady) is going into the management co business.

We went and tried lunch here today, and hurrah it was actually open.
We won't be going back though, not impressed with the food or service at all [msnsad]

Doesn't surprise me to read this Rosie.
Just as I thought. It is a shame as the setting is quite nice, but definitely could not call it a restaurant, more of a cafe with no atmosphere.
Hope the owner or whoever manages to turn it around as the more eateries near Championsgate, the better. Don't intend going back though.
