View Full Version : Best tickets to buy?

Hi everyone. This is my first post to this site. Hope someone can give me some advice regarding Disney tickets. There are 2 issues really. We would like to visit Animal Kingdom for a day followed by the same evening at Epcot. We would also like to visit MGM at least once. Am I correct in assuming that I would need to buy 3 x 1 day tickets to do this?

I have seen partly used Hopper tickets on Ebay but am very hesitant in buying in case I have a problem at one of the parks. I've read on lots of sites that they are ONLY meant to be used by the original purchaser so could be taken 'confiscated' by park officials. This would not only be very costly but most embarrassing too. I look forward to reading your replies.:)

Hi, you can get a 3 day Park Hopper Plus for <£105 which would be better value, that would get you hopper access for 3 days plus a free day in waterpark

Hi Pistonbroke

Welcome to the Forums!

If you take a look at the top of this page you will see a link to Orlando Park Tickets. You will find hopper tickets, indeed any park tickets, very reasonably priced there.

Andrew
Where can you buy 3 day hoppers from, please, I've never seen less than 4 days and I think even they are only in certain countries but some guests may prefer them, especially if they are taking elderly guests with them who may prefer a few days to see the parks but not necessarily as much as 5 days.

I have never seen a 3 day hopper except for those on ebay. Can you tell where you get them from?

Never buy tickets from ebay, you have no way of telling if they are valid or not.

I have searched for a 3 day hopper and can't find one, perhaps someone knows a good web address to try?

Disney do not sell a 3 day hopper ticket. They are only available for conventions. You see them being re-sold on ebay but this can backfire on the purchaser.

Hi Pistonbroke,

The Disney tickets never expire, so if you have to buy more days than you wanted on your next visit you can keep them and use them on future visits, which I am sure you will do.

Disney do do 3 Day Hopper Plusses, I should know, I have bought five for my trip there! They are only for sale through Alamo car rentals (which is really Disney bookings) on 800 560 2397 and at £100 for a 3 day hopper plus it is a steal!!!

Just to change the subject (slightly) - not long until you go now Andrew - sounds like you've got everything well planned :)

Hi :)

Yeah, not long now, I'm actually flying to Heathrow a week tomorrow and staying the night there and then flying into Orlando and staying the night in a hotel before going to your villa the next day.

I think I have everything arranged although I am sure there is something I have not yet got! I can't wait, will I have any problems taking milk for the little un on the plane as he has an intollerance to Lactose and needs special milk?

I can't wait to get to your villa, my whole party (apart from me) are bed reddin with the Flu at the moment, just praying I dont get it whilst we are away!!!

Your villa looks great in the pics, I'll be sure to post on here to let you know how I am getting on when I am there :)

You should be ok with milk on the plane - we never had any problems when ours were younger and still take some milk in a flask for Isaac as he does not drink much else :). If you are taking any into the US (or any other baby food) make sure you mention in to customs on arrival. They are usually very understanding - especially about baby milk powder as the US milk powder is not very nice.

If there is anything else you need before you go feel free to ask away (probably better by email) and we'll do our best to help.

People always tell us the photos do not do the villa justice - it's so hard getting the photos right - did you do the virtual tour, or better still, see the online video. This gives a better idea of what to expect...bear in mind the video is a bit out of date now - we've added a few things to the house since then...king master bed (HUGE), TV/DVD in all bedrooms, internet PC etc etc:).

If we don't speak before, hope you have a great time and I hope the family recover before the trip!

I have just watched the video, looks really nice, which room is the internet PC in? The exchange rate is pretty good at the moment too which is a bonus! About pool heat, can I just ring the management company there if/when I need it turning on? How long does it take to heat up?

Thanks :)

The internet PC is in the room off the master bedroom (possibly not shown on the video as we normally don't use it). You can either pay for pool heat in advance or just ask the MC when you get there. Bear in mind it can take 24 hours to heat up properly. If you want to do it in advance, then email me and let me know :)

Have you ever used a GPS system to find your way about around floirda, this is what we are planning on doing next week. Should stop us getting lost!
