Hi, can someone please give me some info on the [website name edited] website.
my friend has just booked a villa with this site and asked me whether i have booked a villa with it previously, which i havn't and i have always used this one or [website name edited].
Is it a reputable site, and has anyone heard of any bad things regarding this site.

your help would be appreciated. [msnscared][msnscared]

Robbie, we don't allow other villa rental websites to be mentioned on the forum which is why I have edited your post but, if your friend has already booked the villa, then it's probably a bit too late to be asking if it's reputable (or not)!

I've not personally heard of the company but that doesn't mean that they're not OK. If it's a rental agency, then the home may be allocated on arrival so that your friend may not know in advance exactly where they will be staying.

As you already know as you've rented from OV before, by using the OV websites (links at the top of every forum page) all the homes have verified owners and you know exactly which home you'll be staying in and have no worries about booking.

Have you tried Googling the website or company name to see what comes up in searches?

I read your post before the web site was edited out and I do know of the web site but as far as I am aware the villas are NOT verified like they are here. They are basically a host site for owners to advertise and offer 360 degree tours and contact details but that's it[msnscared]

Hi...i too know of the website(prior to editing) and i know the owner of the website and they are vetted and he personaly goes into the homes to additionaly check them and they are licenced etc before they can appear on his site.

However the best sites to get a rental on are sites like this one, you can not only view the villas and speak to the owners but best of all you can ask on the forum to contact any members or guests who may have stayed in the villa, it is hard for owners to get on forum based sites to advertise but easy to be removed for not upholding the best interests of the site so owners on here will always give the best service they possibly can... so stick with OV.
