View Full Version : Watch out for the Wii sports pack!
Just off the phone with a very penitent no. 3 son.
He was playing baseball on his Wii using the sports pack he just got today from Game. The baseball bat attachment flew off the end of the controller and smashed the new 42 inch TV beyond repair.
I'm sure there are lots of you out there who got this for the family - just make sure the attachment is properly connected to the Wii hand thing before using it.
Should have stayed in Florida!

Just looking at ours and i cannot see how it can happen as you hold the two together. If you hold the bat upside down then the controller will come out..

I honestly cannot see how this can happen, we have had our wii for a good 12 months and I am pretty certain its not possible.
To be fair, we've only got his word for it that that's actually what happened. Mrs T suspected he was just standing too close to the TV but he assures her the thing flew off. (I haven't seen it myself so can't comment, apart from swear a bit).

Just a bit??????;);)
It screws into the clip on unit so I presume it could come off if it wasn't screwed in properly.

There an advert on TV out here, where the one guy is batting and gives the contoller to his not to bright buddy, he then tells him to throw a fast ball, or something like that, and so he throws the contoller at the huge LCD monitor on the wall. This obviously smashes and then falls to the floor!!!!!
