Hi,
I'm hopefully moving from having a paid-for company car to getting a car allowance in the next few months, so need to lease something good but ideally under about £220 a month...the less the better so the money goes in my pocket! Does anyone know any decent sites for leasing cars?
Thanks in advance!
I recently had dealings with Skyfleet.co.uk and found them excellent I dealt with a lady called Amanda[msnwink]
We had not actually had a car from them yet as we are still undecided if we will lease or buy[msnscared]
Me to - I have a BMW 320i coupe from skyfleet for £235 per mth but you need to put down a fair deposit.

A lot depends on your annual mileage and the type of car you want.

very true the deposit was one of the things that made us question leasing[msnscared]
I am thinking of buying a new car in the next couple of months and looked at leasing but I can't get it to cost in as a personal buyer. Its going to cost in the region of £7900 for a 2 year lease of a Mondeo size car.[msnsad]

There are no real advantages to a business either. i know there are tax breaks but I would sooner use the break elsewhere.

Nope you would get 100% of the vat back. This is the same for buying a car so there is no VAT advantage over buying. I have mentioned it before we have done lease and purchase. Purchase definitely works out better if you look after the vehicles. We get around 20 - 25% off the lease rates from the company you have mentioned but I still would not lease. If it works for you go for it. If you really want to save money by from out of the country. I bought a ford ranger fully loaded £19000 here and got it for £11500.00.

i used jam jar for my personal lease-and found everything worked really well-after 3 years i opted to buy it and got a really good price for a car i'd known from new. i don't get vat back or anything like that but it was the only way that i could get a new car without a huge capital outlay so i was happy.
