Loved the game, great pre match training for liverpool for the weekend!!!
Score was never in doubt!
Well done to Liverpool as, I think I heard, they are the first English club side to beat Marseille on their home pitch.

While Steven Gerrard was celebrating the win his home was targeted by masked men, both his wife and children were at home at the time.
There have been a few high profile robberies surrounding Liverpool players but I think this is the only one when there was someone at home[msnmad][msnmad][msnmad][msnmad]
I would hope so, Marseille are 13th in the French League. They made heavy weather of very weak group, wil be a different matter on Sunday.

[/quote]I agree, very heavy weather. Could have been the best group winners. If it hadn't been for a dubious penalty at Anfield, we'd also be above Chelsea in the league.

That's life, about one of the only decisions that has gone in Chelsea's favour this season. I have lost count of how many points we have lost this season through wrong decisions, never mind one day you might finish above us in the league. [msnwink][msnsmile2]

Keep Arsenal close by drawing on Sunday will you?[msnwink][msnwink]

Can I also say "Well done" to the BORO for giving Arsenal their first Premiership defeat of the season. An unexpected result I must admit but hopefully they'll carry on with their winning formula [clap][clap][clap]

It made a change for Gerrard to know what color shirts his team mates were playing in. He certain never seems to know when he plays for England.

Is that after he has shot Gerrard[msnwink] who has been the worst Captain England has ever had.

Not the best day for either of us Mark.
But never mind we have a nice easy game Wednesday night.

So who do Liverpool have an easy game against this weekend? [msnwink]

Not the best of weeks Mark[msnwink][/quote]Not the best Paul, at least it can't get any worse, can it?
It shouldn't do but Portsmouth can turn up shock results, not the easiest team to be playing.
I said we had an easy game.
We got back from the match at 12.30, and were at Gatwick at 6.30 to fly out. Now sitting in a warm Florida compared with the -4 when we left.
A great couple of days all round.
Pleased for you Graham. Make sure Glenbrook is nice for when we come over after winning Saturdays lottery...
I thought it was turn to win this week[msnwink]
