Dont know if there is a cost attached to this but would it be possible to put a link to the current weather conditions in Florida/Orlando on the Forum, would be great for guests but expense may be prohibitive?

Perhaps you could just link through to the appropriate bit of weather.com?

www.weather.com give you the html code to put a "weather magnet" on your website free. I have it on my site.

Good idea!

I've added a weather panel to the forum home page under the Active Users section.

I've finally found a weather magnet the right size for our homepage. Check out www.orlandovillas.com to see it <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>.

I came across www.weatherbug.com a few weeks ago and found it quite good. You can set it up to receive alerts for weather warnings and there is a web cam facility as well. It shows the temperature down beside your clock when your on the web and you can set it to show your own area.
By the way this line means WeatherBug is for U.S. AND FOR PCs ONLY It doesn't mean that it is just for U.S. PCs - confused me a first!!

Know what you mean, Ian as I've had a 'bug' for ages and it's free for personal use only. When an alert first went off, we thought we had mice and nearly took the PC apart until we found out what was making the noise. :)

I keep checking the cam (which for my zip code is at Kilimanjaro safari at Animal Kingdom) in the hope of seeing an animal (or even a jeep!) but not managed it so far.

Hmmm...I'm just checking the webcam with the weatherbug and it gives me a choice of Naples or Ft Myers cameras for our villa ZIP 34758 (Crescent Lakes, Kissimmee).

Sounds like something a bit wrong somewhere!

I promise you that for the last 2 years it's been Kilimanjaro safaris at Animal Kingdom but, you're right, I've got the same! They must have changed it. Probably because of complaints of never seeing any animals or a jeep or perhaps one of the animals ate it! Sorry to build your hopes up but it was just a pic of some grass anyway! <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Mind you, the pic of Franklin Park Magnet School at Fort Myers looks a bit like a prison camp with telephone cables but the Vanderbilt Inn at Naples looks a bit more interesting as you get to see the beach!

I'd agree Blott.

I was just sitting here whiling away a moment looking at the beach and the people in the water...less than 2 weeks until we go to Florida now...can't wait <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
