We are looking for a villa with a pool around close to disney land for 2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 6 for two weeks from the 10th or 11th of October 2008. Looking for some help!

To make things easier for yourself you may want to compile a wish list, then only owners who meet all your requirements will be in touch.
Most villas listed on these sites are only short journeys from the Disney parks.
There are many beautiful villas you can rent and you will find them on these sites. Have you already put an enquiry out for your dates. If you haven't start by taking a look at the homes and then submit your enquiry and those owners who have your dates available will reply.
Also any questions you have regarding renting a home or anything to do with your holiday can be answered here as well. I find half of the fun of a holiday is the planning, so enjoy.

Welcome to the forums.
I am guessing from your heading that you may be first time visitors to Florida, so just tought we might be able to help with the geography a bit. There aren't really any villas on International drive as that was one of the originaly tourist areas so was mainly constructed of hotels amongst the attractions based there.
International drive is further East than Walt Disney World. All of the villas advertised on here are within a short distance of Disneyworld.
You've picked a good time to go October is usually a nice month weatherwise to go.
Have fun looking , it's all part of the holiday fun.
As already stated, International drive area does not have villas but all the villas have good access to Disney. When you do your villa search you have the option of looking at a map to see where the communities are.
