Hi Bob
I opened an account with Wachovia over the internet, not sure if you can still do that, but DM me and I'll give you the contact details of the Wachovia person who helped me.

We opened ours in person at Bank of america in celebration where they tell me that 60% of their accounts are held by non US citizens.
Very easy to do and very friendly and helpful.[msnsmile]
Wish my bank in the Uk was as good:D
RBC have a few branches in the Orlando area, which could be useful if you happen to bank with Royal Bank in Canada. Details here: http://www.rbccentura.com/
We do not use RBC Centura ourselves, so I do not know what their service is like (although we do use RBC in Canada).
