Air conditioning is a great in a hot country but here are a few tips to keep you cool.

First, don't turn up your air conditioning thermostat when you got out in the hope that your rental home be nice and cool when you get back. If you turn it to less than about 78F, you'll find that everyone coming in from the outside heat will be liable to get a chill. This is because going from 90+F to any less than 78F will be too much of a temperature change.

Second, keep the doors and windows closed! The air conditioning doesn't work properly if you leave these open as it has to fight to cool all the hot air coming in from outside. If you've got vertical blinds in your rental home, close these during the day to keep the sun from getting in and warming up your home.

Third, the air conditioning in your rental car works the same way. To keep cool (and stay safe) keep the windows closed when you're in the car.

Fourth, if you're going out in the evening in spring or autumn/fall or winter, remember that the temperature drops the later it gets. As everywhere has air conditioning, take a light jacket or cardigan with you as sometimes it can get chilly in restaurants, etc.

Regarding Air con It`s a good idea to ask guests not to turn the below 75(for a quick cool) !they think the lower setting will make it cooler more often than not it freezes the fan unit up and stops working completely until thawed and guests can then end up with a hot house for around 6 -12 hours until it thaws -If the inside unit freezes up it can make a mess when thawing out especially if the unit is on the upper floor . we also advise guests to leave inside doors ajar this helps to ciculate keeping all the rooms cool so .
