Having spent a couple of weeks wading through the fantastic response to my general enquiry I now cant go at the dates I requested.......

Have to go abroad on business that week and can not get out of it so that scuppers those plans!

So having whittled the hundreds of responses down to a short list (of 40) and then the 40 down to 10 and the 10 down to 5 I will now have to go through it all again.

I am going to keep the five on my list though!!!!

That is frustrating however you could always try those five homes when you get your new dates:D hopefully one of them will be able to do your dates[clap]

If you know the dates you CAN go, remember you could hold the home of your dreams with a deposit -or talk to the owner and work something out- thats the beauty of booking with actual owners as against inflexible Travel Agents!

Unlucky Vince. At least you have your shortlist as a starting point. Every cloud has a silver lining, you never know, you mind find better flight prices for your new dates.

Yes I going to keep the 5 safe and then see what happens, was hoping it would be outside the school holidays to make things a little less expensive but looking more like school holidays now!

That said I can get to see all the homes that were full the original weeks

Time for another list :)
