Hi Folks,

We're hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner this year for our friends because we thought it would be a great get together and a good excuse to eat loads! (My partner thinks it's a great excuse to watch American football without me nagging!)

Although I'm a very keen cook and not afraid of trying something new, I would love some tips to make it that extra bit special because we have an American visitor with us.

Any tips would be very much appreciated!

Tash

Well, I hope you like turkey! ;) Try here for some traditional recipes http://www.acplace.com/holiday/thanksgiving.htm or http://www.allbaking.net/thanksgiving.html or, if you're guests are into low fat, then http://www.night.net/thanksgiving/Low-Fat-Thanks.html-ssi

Thanks Blott! :D

We love turkey and I'm sure we're gonna be lookin like big fat stuffed GM turkeys by the time TG comes around (we'll have a few test runs just to make sure!)[:p][:p]

Auntie Delia just didn't come up to scratch this time so I'll have a ponder at these sites in the monring.

Thanks again :D

I also throw in Yorkshires and roast pots....American guests always love them.....
