I have just booked with alamo ,it is the first time I have used them .In the past we have always used dollar . I know that dollar has an express line does alamo have this too.
Pretty sure that Alamo do not have express like Dollar but have a look at this thread as it may be of some use to you

We have used Alamo the last two times we have been to the USA and I have to say that the service has been brilliant, At Easter of this year there was no queue at MCO whereas at Dollar we would have waited for at least one hour. We could choose the car we wanted, obviously within our price range, but as we knew we would be doing quite alot of shopping for the villa we found that choosing a hatchback with the back seats that folded down was a bonus. We would certainly recommend Alamo.

The only thing I've found with Alamo is sometime the cars are not that clean....I like the way you can pick your car...I used the bar code on the online booking form to pick up my car....so little if any waiting...
