Couple of quick questions

Whats the best way to check in with Virgin in US , either DTD or online

firstly where exactly is the Virgin check in at Downtown Disney as I have yet to see it

Secondly can I check in most of my luggage here , and then an additional bag at the airport

reason being we have our kids booster seats with us which I pack into my golf travel bag

so want to check in my main luggage at DTD and then just check my golf bag and kids seats in at the airport

Alternatively if I do online check in with Virgin is it much slower at the airport ??

DTD check in is round the side of Cirque de Soleil, by the car park - you can't miss it if you go - look out for the big canopy.... I believe you can check in extra bags at the airport, but you will have to queue to do so.

We always check in on line, as we have our own place, so don't need to vacate the property early, unless we have guests going in the day we leave - we try not to let this happen. The online check in queue at the airport can get busy, but you normally don't have to wait for long.

We have used DTD, but the last time I checked with online I couldn't check in anyway as we had an infant in our laps.

It is round at Cirque de Soleil.

I was under the impression that you had to check in everything, apart from strollers, at DTD - a bit like twilight check-in, but wouldn't like to guarantee this.

The online method would not work for us and we decided to go to MCO to check in. Big mistake. Took us almost 2 hours to check in and we nearly missed the plane.

We've always checked in all our luggage at DTD, what about ringing Virgin and explaining your situation or you could go to DTD a couple of days before you're due to fly home and ask. If you go just before they close there should be less people there.

I use on line check in and the queue is never as bad as the queue for the people who did not check in.

The queue to check in at Orlando International for Virgin is horrendous and was almost around the block when we were there. I wondered if they ever managed to clear the queue before departure with the number of people and how slow it was! Thankfully, we'd checked in online and just had to go to bag drop (hardly any queue!).

We always use DTD check in and never had a problem. Last May when went to check in my little girl had had chicken pox:( and we were told we would need a FIT TO FLY letter from a doctor. We were able to obtain this and still check in at DTD before it closed, at 1pm (I think) Had we left it to check in at MCO we would never have been able to get this in time so would have missed our flight home. As it was we still had some time for last minute shopping in Florida Mall:D:D
