I know there has been a good deal of chat about good deals on cars. I found Airline Network the cheapest for a small saloon at £248 for 12 days. They did try to get us to upgrade when we picked the car up but we stuck to our guns and it was just lovely and so comfortable. Upon our return a spanish guy slapped a computerised thing in front of us and asked for an extra 19 dollars because we were overdue. I think he expected us just to cough up - but we queried this vehemently - checked at the office and of course there was nothing to pay. Wonder if he tries it on with people on their return so he gets a bit on the side or whether he had just made a genuine mistake. Be interested to know if anyone else has had problems. Otherwise though the pick up and return were swift and no bother.

Our own per week charges are better value than the site you quote Lisi - it's the part weeks where we lose out slightly - which makes me think we ought to look into this and see if something can be done :).
